-
Supporting Professional Development at all Levels
The Catonsville Chapter of AAWCC is located on the Catonsville Campus of The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC Catonsville). Our mission is to create and provide opportunities for women to pursue and achieve their own definition of success through leadership and education. We strive to offer opportunities to gain support from and to give support to other women. Through our programs, services, and activities, we attempt to address women’s issues and acknowledge women’s achievements. These programs, services, and activities include organizing and hosting an annual Women’s Expo, holding Brown Bag Lunches, participating in the Relay for Life every year in June to raise money for the American Cancer Society, providing scholarships for CCBC students, organizing various fundraisers, providing developmental funds for members to attend seminars and workshops, and honoring three outstanding women from our campus at a luncheon each spring.
