The Sanctuary is the culmination of what was originally just my desire to make some sense of the world around me and what had happened to me growing up. . . and beyond. . .
 
Like so many of us, I came from a “dysfunctional family” and carried those patterns and illnesses into adulthood. By the time I was in my mid forties, my life was almost completely devastated by addiction; and I had lost several people very close to me to the same disease.  After a particularly devastating loss in 1993, I was at a turning point – and through what I considered to be "Divine grace and intervention," I have been on a spiritual journey of healing on many levels for almost fourteen years. . .

Because I wanted to be truly well in mind, body, and spirit and not just free of substances, I have traveled, during these subsequent years, to many places to experience new modalities of healing as they have become available. During my travels, I always knew that I was extremely blessed to be able to seek out the seminars and classes to which Spirit led me.

In this process, I discovered intuitive abilities – long hidden away under layers of illness – and as I unearthed these, I began to heal and also to develop a vision for a place - for a “sanctuary” offering holistic therapies and learning opportunities - for those similarly interested in exploring the exciting world of alternative healing and holism on a personal, community and even a global level.  So, welcome to The Sanctuary, providing opportunities for spiritual healing, personal growth, and holistic education to all those seeking greater fulfillment of body, mind and spirit. . .
